*Beautifully said!*

A man just got married and was returning home with his wife.

They were crossing a lake in a boat, when suddenly a great storm arose. The man was a warrior, but the woman became very much afraid because it seemed almost hopeless:

The boat was small and the storm was really huge, and any moment they were going to be drowned.
But the man sat silently, calm and quiet, as if nothing was happening.

The woman was trembling and she said, “Are you not afraid ?”. This may be our last moment of life! It doesn’t seem that we will be able to reach the other shore. Only some miracle can save us; otherwise death is certain.
Are you not afraid? Are you mad or something? Are you a stone or something?

The man laughed and took the sword out of its sheath. The woman was even more puzzled: What he was doing?

Then he brought the naked sword close to the woman’s neck, so close that just a small gap was there, it was almost touching her neck. He said,” Are you afraid ?”

She started to laugh and said,” Why should I be afraid ?,If the sword is in your hands, why I should be afraid? I know you love me.

” He put the sword back and said, This is my answer”. I know God Loves me, and the storm is in His hands

*SO WHATSOEVER IS GOING TO HAPPEN IS GOING TO BE GOOD.* If we survive, good; if we don’t survive, good ,because everything is in His hands and He cannot do anything wrong.

6. *It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.*

7. *Make peace with your past so it won't mess up the present.*

8. *Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.*

9. *Take a deep breath every now and then. It calms the mind.*

10. *Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.*

11. *Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.*

12. *It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else.*

13. *When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.*

*Its worth reading again & again, as & when you can.*😊

Recently read in a magazine - An engineer in a car manufacturing company designs a world class car.
The owner is impressed with the outcome and praised him a lot.
While trying to bring out the car from the manufacturing area to the office they realised that the car is few inches tall than the entrance.
The engineer felt bad that he didn't noticed this one before creating the car. The owner was amazed on how to take it outside of the manufacturing area.
The painter said that they can bring out the car and there will be few scratches on top of the car that he will do the tinkering later on.
The engineer said that they can break the entrance and after taking the car out, they can cement it.
The owner was not convinced with any ideas and felt like it is a bad sign to break or scratch. The watchman was watching all these drama and slowly approached the owner.
He wanted to give an idea if they have no problem. They thought what this guy would tell them that the experts could not give.
Watchman said that the car is only few inches tall than the entrance so if they release the air in the tyre, the height of the car will be adjusted and can be easily taken out.
Everyone there clapped their hands, appreciated him.
Don't encounter problems from the expert point of view.
There is always a layman point that will attract the masses.

"I watched a local football match in a school playing ground.

As I sat down, I asked one of the boys what the score was.

With a proud smile, he
replied; "They are leading us 3-0" !!!

REALLY !!!
I have to say you don't look discouraged.

"Discouraged?" the boy asked with a puzzled look.

Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle ?

Truly, I didn't have an answer to this question!

As I got back home that night, his question became a course in my stay in life indeed.

Life is like a game.

Why should you be discouraged when your referee,... The Almighty has not blown the final whistle on your life?

The truth is that as long as there is life, nothing is impossible & it is never too late for you.

Half time is not full time & His calendar is not mine

Don't blow the whistle yourself. ⚽

Create an awesome life. 😊

For Leisurely Reading and Understanding Philosophy of Life

Thru
A good interpretation of Mahabharata..

Sanjay , was finally there, Kurukshetra, the ground where the great war of Mahabharata

He also knew that it was not possible till he went to the spot where the greatest war took place.

It was said in the texts that eighty percent of the fighting male population of the civilization was wiped out in the eighteen days of the war.

He looked around and wondered if the war really happened, if the ground beneath him had soaked all that blood, if the great Pandavas and Krishna stood where he stood.

“You will never know the truth about that!” said an aging soft voice.

Sanjay turned around to find an Old man in saffron robes appearing out of a column of dust.

“I know you are here to find out about the Kurukshetra war, but you cannot know about that war till you know what the real war is about.” the Old man said enigmatically.

“What do you mean?”

Sanjay instantly knew that he was in the presence of someone who knew more about the war than any living person he had ever met .
“The Mahabharata is an Epic, a ballad, perhaps a reality but definitely a philosophy.”

The Old man smiled luring Dev into more questions.

“Can you tell me what the philosophy is then?”
Sanjay requested.
Sure. Here goes,” began the Old man.

“The Pandavas are nothing but your five senses, sight, smell, taste, touch and sound and do you know what the Kauravas are?”
 he asked narrowing his eyes.

Sanjay shook his head.

“The Kauravas are the hundred vices that attack your senses everyday but you can fight them and do you know how?”

Sanjay shook his head again.
“When Krishna rides your chariot!”
The Old man smiled brighter and Sanjay gasped at that gem of insight.

“Krishna is your inner voice ,your soul, your guiding light and if you let your life in his hands you have nothing to worry.”

Sanjay was stupefied but came around quickly with another question. “Then why are Dronacharya and Bhishma fighting for the Kauravas, if they are vices?”

The Old man nodded, sadder for the question.

“It just means that as you grow up your perception of your elders change. The elders who you thought were perfect in your growing up years are not all that perfect. They have faults. And one day you will have to decide if they are for your good or your bad. Then you may also realize that you may have to fight them for the good. It is the hardest part of growing up and that is why the Geeta is important.”

Sanjay slumped down on the ground, not because he was tired but because he could understand and was struck by the enormity of it all.

 “What about Karna?” he whispered.

“Ah!” said the Old man. “You have saved the best for last. Karna is the brother to your senses, he is desire, he is a part of you but stands with the vices. He feels wronged and makes excuses for being with the vices as your desire does all the time.

Does your desire not give you excuses to embrace vices?”

Sanjay nodded silently. He looked at the ground, consumed with a million thoughts, trying to put everything together and then when he looked up the Old man was gone.

He seemed to have disappeared in the column of dust.........
Leaving behind the great philosophy of Life . 🙏🙏🙏.

Sharing a beautiful explanation about Lord Shiva’s vehicle Nandi and meditation.

Generally, we see Nandi sitting directly opposite the main door of the temple where Shiva's idol or Shivalingam is located.

He is not waiting for him to come out and say something.

He is in waiting.

Nandi is a symbolism of eternal waiting, because waiting is considered the greatest virtue in Indian culture.

One who knows how to simply sit and wait is naturally meditative.

He is not expecting anything. He will wait forever.

Nandi is Shiva’s closest accomplice because he is the essence of receptivity.

Before you go into a temple, you must have the quality of Nandi - to simply sit.

So, just by sitting here, he is telling you, “When you go in, don’t do fanciful things.Don’t ask for this or that. Just go and sit like me."

The fundamental difference between Prayer & Meditation is that - Prayer means you are trying to talk to God. Meditation means you are willing to listen to God.

You are willing to just listen to existence, to the ultimate nature of creation.

You have nothing to say, you simply listen.

That is the quality of Nandi – he just sits, alert, not sleepy. He is not sitting passively. He is very active, full of alertness, full of life, but just being – that is Meditation!
